2026-05-31 8 min read

Conversation intelligence is software that captures sales calls (and emails), transcribes them, and extracts patterns — competitor mentions, pricing pushback, decision-maker presence, champion strength, sentiment shifts. Pioneered by Gong and Chorus around 2015–17. Conversation intelligence is a subset of revenue intelligence focused specifically on the conversational signal. Most effective in enterprise sales with >$50K ACV; lower-ROI in transactional SMB motions.
